Wafer-Style Butterfly Valve
Wafer butterfly valves are designed to clamp between two flanges, with four alignment holes that match most flange standards. The resilient rubber/EPDM seat ensures a tight, reliable seal. Unlike lug-style valves, wafer types are not suitable for end-of-line service, as the entire line must be shut down for maintenance. They are compatible with pneumatic or electric actuators, and disc/seat materials can be selected according to media and application.
