Description
Q41F Carbon Steel Flanged Ball Valve features a floating ball design. Under the pressure of the media, the ball shifts slightly and presses firmly against the outlet seat, ensuring a reliable seal. The floating ball structure is simple and provides excellent sealing performance.
The valve’s closure component is a perforated ball (or partial ball) that rotates with the stem to open or close the valve. In piping systems, ball valves are mainly used for shut-off, flow distribution, and changing the flow direction. Thanks to its design, the flow resistance of a ball valve is minimal: when fully open, the ball bore, valve body, and connecting pipe are aligned, allowing media to flow through with negligible pressure loss. Valve seats are available in soft seal or hard seal options to meet different service requirements.
The flanged ball valve can also be designed with a high platform, following standard actuator mounting designs, which eliminates the need for additional brackets or bearings and makes actuator installation simple and convenient. The valve body is manufactured with precision casting technology, ensuring strong durability and a clean surface finish.
